The Swedish Institute Global Professionals Scholarship, Otago International Excellence Scholarship, New Zealand and other scholarships will commence applications in few months. All year long, universities, governments and other organizations like DAAD provide funding for scholars around the world to undertake graduate studies and research abroad.

Applications for these are usually in high number; a very competitive process. Only the most qualified receive the awards. To secure any of these opportunities, you need to stand out. How do you stand out?

The training will be modular. Modules will be participatory online webinars interspaced with self-paced learning that include assignments and personal research.

Session: How to Write Compelling Personal Statements for Admission and Visa Applications

Flora Ikpen is an International Education Consultant and the author of “How to Write an Outstanding Statement of Purpose for Admission, Scholarship and Visa Applications”. She is the Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Arolf International Consult. She has successfully handled over 100 personal statements for admission and different visa applications, including student visa, tourism visa, and visiting visa.
